What is our Blog about and who are we?
Hey guys,
If you read this blog, you´re cool 🙂 We are 4 students from Berlin, Germany and we are going to talk about lifestyle themes. For example food and fashion in Berlin. We will tell you our opinion about some restaurants you have to go if you are going to visit Berlin.
Hey Guys, Dilara here. Since I can remember we always went to a restaurant called „Barfly“, so it always had been my favourite restaurant in our area. Which makes me wanting to introduce you to my heartfelt recommendation.
Barfly is a really cozy, family-friendly, affordable place. You immediately feel comfortable.
When you think of Berlin you may think of unfriendly and hectic people. There it is really different than your stereotypes, the people there are really cool and friendly whether the customers or the waiters.
Now let’s talk about the main thing we are all interested in: Meals and Drinks.
You can find everything your heart desires, it doesn’t matter if you like meat; you like it healthy; you’re vegetarian or even Vegan. You can eat Breakfast; something not that heavy like salads, soups or sandwiches or something for dinner like pasta, burger vegetable pans or rice pans. You also could snack something like nachos.
Drinks…. it doesn’t matter whether hot or cold drinks; alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, you can find anything for everyone. My hint is the homemade lemonade, its sooo good.
Here are some pictures:
Here is the address: Brüderstraße 47, 13595 Berlin
Let me know if you’re interested to visit and if you did how you liked your stay.
I want to share my opinion about the Vietnamese restaurant „Mido“ with you. You can find it in the Wilmersdorfer Straße 94, 10629 Berlin.
The whole ambience in the restaurant is really nice and I felt very comfortable when I was there. Also the waiters were very kind and courteous to us. They came several times to ask us if everything is okay or if we want something else. Last but not least I can tell you the food was so good. I was at Mido with Jonas and Lina and we had three different dishes I tasted all of them and I liked them so much.
Here you can look at some pictures I took:
Above you can see the yummy sushi I ate. I often eat this type of sushi but I think these ones were the best.
Here you see my second dish the delicious Spring rolls. The dip could have been more spicy and hot, but the rolls them self were good.
In this picture you you see the food Jonas ate. It was a hot soup with chicken and noodles made out of Rice. He was almost sweating after eating it but he liked it.
This picture shows a little view into the restaurant. I really like the design of it and also it is cosy.
All in all I can say that I really enjoyed eating there. I recommend it to everyone who likes to eat Vietnamese food.
Hi, I am Lina and I am going to tell you about the restaurant, or maybe more the café “What do you fancy love” in Berlin-Charlottenburg. It is placed near the “Kurfürsten Damm” and also the “Savigny Platz”.
I`ve been many many times at this café and showed it to many of my friends because I really like the people, the ambiente and especially the food in there!
They have a quite big menu where you can choose between different kinds of drinks and food.
“What do you fancy love” is famous for its delicious juices they serve. I always take one of those, if I am there.
My favourite juice is the “kiss me” juice with rasberry, banana and apple
What I also really like are the bagels you can get there. You can choose between different kinds of rare bagels and what you want on top of it.
I can recommend the bagel with tomato and mozzarella and also with guacamole( if you like garlic).
Of course, there is much more to eat and drink! The yogurts with cereals are also really really great
I specially like the “ivy`s Müsli”.
I would call “What do you fancy love” a half-half self service café. You go to the bar to tell them what you want to eat and drink. You also pay there directly. In the end they ask for the end they ask you for your name which is why you can sit down after that and let them bring you your food with shouting out your name. most waiters are speaking English as a native or at least really good, which is amazing because everyone from everywhere can communicate. Of course, they are also able to speak German. All of the waiters are really friendly and you get in a kind of a “friend relation” to them directly.
The owner of “What do you fancy love” have two other cafes which are quite similar. They are called “A never ending love story” and “coffee drink your monkey”. Both of them are also really close to the Savigny Platz. In Berlin-Mitte they carry a second “What do you fancy love” café.
I would really recommend this café to all of you, if you are a girl, a boy, diverse, young or old -What do you fancy love is a place where everyone finds what he or she or it lovesJ
Yesterday I went with a group of 8 people to the restaurant „Tapas“ which is located in the Grolmanstraße 52, Berlin Charlottenburg. The „Spanish flair“ is absolutely given. The waiters are really friendly and the restaurant looks nice. Here you see a photo which I did.
There you can eat typical Spanish food like „Tapas“. Here you see some photos.
These are potatoes with chilli. They were really good. These are Pimientos. I didn’t like them a lot because they tasted a little bit fad.
You also can eat there Mexican food like „Enchilada“ or a „Burrito“.
Here you see „Enchilada“. It’s a typical Mexican meal which contains some vegetables, some dips and 2 Tacos filled with meat. It tasted pretty good. There are also fish meals which are really good. This is a burrito which is also a typical Mexican meal. It’s filled with meat and will be served with a dip. My friend liked it a lot.
In points from 1 to 10 I would give the restaurant a solid 8. Nearly everything tasted good. Unfortunately they didn’t have everything which was given in the menu. All in all it’s a good decision to go there. You can taste a lot of thing you never ate before. I wasn’t the last time there.
